does it use an FEL lamp? KeepOnTruckin Complain to me | my work here 05:55, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yes it does. This one is an old one that was stuck in a gymnasium for as long as I can remember- the lamp was of course wrong. It had a FLK 575 watt lamp in it. -JWGreen 23:10, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
- Stuck in a gym? Heh, sounds like our A-frame ladder. I see a lot more spots with incandescents, esp. the FEL lamp vs. arc lamps. And ive only seen 1 carbon arc, that was at the Kennedy Center in Wash. DC. KeepOnTruckin Complain to me | my work here 01:30, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah- these followspot used to be in the theatre at this high school, but they was replaced by smaller ones (the crows nests for the spots was really small). It was then used by the activites director for things such as pep rallies and such. This particular one had been dropped at least once, and there were quite a few problems with it. In this picture the iris actually isn't attached to the control arm, the blower fan was shot, everything was out of allignment, but thankfully, most of it was fixed with a trip to the local surplus center. The only thing we had to order was the iris. -JWGreen 01:58, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
