The middle example, showing 3 long-esses together isn't correct. The long s wasn't used at the end of syllables (or, of course, words).
So Flussschifffahrt would be typeset in Fraktur and similar fonts with a long and a short s, or an ß ligature (which depending on the face could look like an sz or an ss), followed by a long s since Schiff isn't being capitalised. Similarly, the double ff at the end of -schiff would be typeset as a ligature followed by an f to begin Fahrt. 21:47, 31 August 2014 (UTC)
