It's tongue-in-cheek
[edit]The current image looks to me to be clearly derived from the Firefox logo - too close to it to be free, maybe. But I don't know really about this stuff. But here is an image I made which is not derived from the Firefox logo and so might be more free. If anyone knows about this it's offered as a more free replacement. - Look closer. It's a slug, for heaven's sake, not a fiery fox! For anyone who has tried to run [Firefox]] on an older 486/Pentium class machine, i.e., less than 500 MHz clock speed, the s l o w n e s s of the software and the pictorial association are readily apparent. SeaMonkey, the old Mozilla Suite and Netscape Suite will beat the pants off of Firefox anytime. —QuicksilverT @ 21:02, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, a slug. Well that's very different. Never mind. Herostratus (talk) 02:43, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
