Subject: File talk:Europe Completed Motorways Dec 2012.png inaccurate

This map is inaccurate as it does not show the full extent of the motorway network in Ireland as of December 2012.

Based on sources such as Wikipedia, Open Street Map (http://www.openstreetmap.org/),Google Maps, Ireland's National Road Authority's website (www.nra.ie), offline resources (AA Road Map of Great Britain and Ireland, 2012 edition), and personal knowledge, the map relating to Ireland is incorrect.

The map does not show the M7 as complete (http://www.nra.ie/News/PressReleases/htmltext,17732,en.html)

The map does not show the M8 as complete (http://www.nra.ie/News/PressReleases/htmltext,17186,en.html)

The map does not show the M9 as complete (http://www.nra.ie/News/PressReleases/htmltext,17283,en.html)

The map does not show the M4 (http://www.nra.ie/GeneralTollingInformation/TollCharges/M4Kilcock-Enfield-Kinnegad/)

The map does not show a portion of the M18 from near Crusheen, Co. Clare (north of Ennis) to north of Gort (http://www.nra.ie/News/PressReleases/htmltext,17643,en.html).

Update

[edit]

This map really needs updating, otherwise it will be taken town. It's a good map, though. Just very out of date--86.3.200.81 (talk) 02:48, 1 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
