The comment at file creation time notes "Woodcut from the Divina Proportione, Luca Pacioli 1509, Venice, depicting the golden proportion as it applies to the human face." However, despite the misleading caption in the image itself, this is from the second section of the book, about the Vitruvian system, which is based on integer-ratios, not the "golden proportion" (or "phi"). This can be easily confirmed by simply noting that the lines and boxes are indeed in simple integer ratios and are not reasonably close to phi. Matthew Miller (talk) 19:10, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
