Accuracy

This is a good map, but the accuracy could perhaps be improved. Some areas are unicoloured while others consist of stripes. Adding a key would be good, as all readers now are left to guess the difference of these two areas. My guess would have been that the unicoloured areas would be areas where the proportion of native Swedish speakers is higher than in the areas with stripes. In that case, though, there are several errors. All of Tornedalen is unicoloured, despite the fact that a large proportion of the population speaks Meänkieli. All ofOstrobothnia, on the other hand, is striped despite the fact that some municipalities in Ostrobothnia has got a higher proportion of native Swedish speakers than any municipality in Finland and thus would be the first to be unicoloured. The map contains serious errors!

The map showing the language areas in Sweden contains serious errors. Bilingual Meänkieli/Finnish-Swedish areas in the Torne Valley along the border of Finland are indicated as monolingual Swedish-speaking. These areas are even legally defined in the official Meänkieli-speaking area. The map needs to be redrawn. --88.193.41.159 (talk) 06:11, 22 October 2011 (UTC)

Multilingualism vs language discussions

Please keep this drawing/map focused on the swedish language and its usage. Discussions om multilingualism will have to go elsewhere (other articles/drawings). This seems to be the consensus on Wikipedia. (Filadifei 20:33, 2 November 2011 (UTC))
