The image Dianemcnaron.jpg is one of my standard headshots. Professional photographers copyright their in-studio work and sell it to the artist who has been photographed, thereby giving that artist permission to use the photo in any capacity except sales. Such photographs appear in many of the biographical articles on performers living and dead on Wikipedia. Any other studio headshot I or any performing artist would submit has the same copyright traditions, so I'm not sure h ow it bacame an issue. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dianemcnaron (talk • contribs) 2012-08-11T23:22:04
- She is still alive, so someone could visit her and take a photo of her. Thus, replaceable. Unfree photos of living people are not allowed here. See WP:NFC#UUI §1. --Stefan2 (talk) 09:26, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
