Logo Threshold of Originality
[edit]Does this logo meets Threshold of Originality for commons? It consists of a simple droplet and a sapling. Joseph (talk) 18:02, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Joseph: Why is this a WP:RFC matter? Have you observed WP:RFCBEFORE, such as by asking at WP:MCQ? --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 21:33, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
- Comment in addition to what Redrose64 said, I'm not sure this is the sort of question that's best suited to an RfC. The threshold of originality looks like a complicated standard that myself and most other random editors who will come to this through the RfC process are not going to have the expertise to interpret. Try bringing this to Wikipedia's copyright project, and start an RfC only if there is disagreement there. Sdkb (talk) 05:33, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
- Assume that it is above the threshold of originality in Turkey, the country of origin. Since there is nothing about TOO in c:COM:TOO or c:Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Turkey, we should employ c:COM:PCP and assume that it is low. As others have already said, this should not have been bought to RfC. MCQ or WP:FFD would have been more suitable venues. – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 17:44, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
