Although Weekes is alive and Panic! at the Disco has not disbanded, the picture is a clear image of Weekes very recently before his announcement of his departure from the lineup. This also serves as the purpose of the image. A replacement cannot be added as said before, it is taken at the time nearing his announcement from the official lineup. Say the replacement was taken a year later, it would not serve the same purpose on how this photo of Weekes is included in the article. --"Hey there! - Note: After this, I added a tag about why this fails WP:NFCC#8. Steel1943 (talk) 21:07, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- The photo was added to the Panic! at the Disco article because of Weekes' status change in the band. It is discussed on the article on Weekes' status change in the Death of a Bachelor section of the article. His status change was heavily rumored on social media and caused many reports on Weekes' departure from the official lineup. The photo is significant as it shows a very recent picture before Weekes' official announcement from the official lineup and no where else in the article is there a clear picture of Dallon Weekes, which can increase an understanding to a reader of the article. --"Hey there!
