Ok, so basically there are no other free Scottish clan maps available that accurately show the extents and boundaries of the Scottish clans, which is the reason for which I have uploaded this image for. I can give some examples of free maps that are available online where this is the case: Both this one: [1] , and this one: [2] are 19th century pieces of work that are out of the 100 year copyright period, however, they both thoroughly show the incorrect ideal that only Scottish Highland families lived in "clans" - this is a 19th century convention of the Scottish romanticism of the time that is well known to be incorrect as Scottish Lowland families lived in clans as well. Therefore even though these maps are free works that are available I would not use them on Wikipedia because they show incorrect information. I cannot find any other such Scottish clan maps online, that are both free to use and have contain accurate information that is required on Wikipedia.QuintusPetillius (talk) 10:16, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- A freely licensed map could be prepared using readily available free maps. Sorry, --Diannaa (talk) 05:07, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
