The hardcore punk band China White, from Huntington Beach, California, released its last record in 2005, while its last live performance was a one-off benefit concert, held on March 30 2013, to help one of its founding members in his battle with cancer: Frank Ruffino died two months later.
In the light of the above, and that has not been heard from since then, the band could be considered definitively defunct.
On the other hand, the band's heyday was during the early years (1978-1984) of the hardcore punk movement in Southern California, therefore, China White more relevant lineup's notability rests in large part on their earlier visual appearance, a new picture may not serve the same purpose as an image taken at the peak of their career.
There is no a free substitute for this image and it cannot be replaced by a brief textual description due to its visual complexity.
Besides, the article on China White, whose information was mostly added nine years ago, needs to be updated with regards to the activity status of the band.
