We also need a list for net exports (which would also have net imports)

ACTUALLY - this needs to all go into one integrated table and attached graphs...

There should be separate columns for: Oil Exports Imports Net Exports Proven Reserves

and maybe more columns (but that would get too wide)

I'll do it some time if no one else does... But it would be a nice, easy, and important project :)

Hello there,

The file/graphic has so many fatal errors, that I think it is better to have nothing instead of so many wrong infos. Norway for example like in the description written. But Indonesia is another one, the table shows that almost the whole Indonesian oil production is exported... In fact Indonesia left the OPEC I think 2008 because it became a net-importer in 2005 or 2006. It produced almost 1 Million in 2008/2009, but the investments made until the oil price collapsed from ~147 US-$ in July 2008 to ~35 US-$ at Christmas 2008 increased the production since 2008/2009 again to a bit more than one million. But Indonesia needs 1,25 - 1,5 million. Numbers are different, depending on date. Gasoline and Diesel prices were increased by the goverment. Metro and MetroBus Systems (like TransJakarta were expanded with a lot of buses powered by natural gas. This reduced consumption but Indonesia won't get a net exporter soon or ever, maybe in the future if they find some additional offshore fields. The increase of gasoline prices in a quite poor country of course leads to a strong reduction. Here in Germany we don't feel it so much, prices in Europe are extrem high anyway...

but the average US driver would sell his SUV or car which needs 10 liter for 100km or even more and buy a small one or he would drive less, try to walk short distances, driving effective (here there are trainings offered by some driving schools, how to safe gasoline... don't give speed so often, let the car roll instead of driving fast and doing a full brake... some SUV's and Pickups? need 15 liter or more. 15 liter here would be 22-23€ (a bit over ~30 US-$, depending on the value of the US-$, if the €uro is quite high it becomes ~33$ for 20 liter or maybe 1 Dollar less if it is E10 gasoline, with 10% Ethanol, which has to be offered by every gas station by law.... its a bit cheaper but most people are scared because of possible damage. Only a few car producers, and only for their new models can give you the guarantee that E10 doesn't damage the car (slowly).
