I would like this to be in the Wikimedia Commons. For an occasional contributor I find the instructions too packed with jargon to follow - I'm interested in sailing and science - the internet is just a gateway, not an obsession. I note this alert was created 6 years ago - so, I'm an "occasional contributor".
In "Other Instructions" it says:
Endorse this file for transfer by adding |human=<your username> to this Template.
What is "this Template" - there is no link on the page labelled "Template" so I have no idea how to access it. Even if I found the "Template" how would I know where to insert |human=Robertpaynter?
You experts need to sit down with a novice every now and then and lead them through things so you learn how packed with invented specialist language the Wiki world has become.
