Regarding the copyrights for The Berkeley Tribe, for this specific issue of The Tribe, copyrights would belong to Matthew Steen, who worked on the articles contained within as well as the concept for this cover; Jeannie Raisler, who appears in the photograph with baby; and, I believe, Stephen Shames, who was the staff photographer for The Tribe in 1969. I was one of the co-editors of The Berkeley Tribe and appear on the amended articles of incorporation for The Red Mountain Tribe on file with the Secretary of State for California.
