Scale?

Just thinking, some kind of scale on this image to show distances would greatly add to the quality and ability to understand what's going on. So suddenly all German cities east of the Oder have Polish names in 1945? This map is ridiculously unhistorical. A brief look at the edit history of this wikipedian shows some pretty blatant Polish irredentism.
