@TriiipleThreat: You remarked in your edit summary that "220 is max display in infobox", but this is simply not true. See articles such as Green Book (film), The Favourite, and Roma (2018 film), where the lead images are larger than 220px in width; if the posters don't appear larger than 220px in width for you, it's possible that you have your preferences set to 220px thumbnail width. This is fine, but it proves that it has nothing to do with the way {{Infobox film}} is built, and that 220px is not the maximum size for width that the infobox is capable of. – PhilipTerryGraham (talk · articles · reviews) 08:09, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the clarification. According to the talk archives, the default file size was 220 at one time, I never noticed the change even though it appears to have been made a few years ago. You’re also right that my preferences are set to 220, I never changed them and I wonder if this the default preference setting, which could have some influence on the preferred file size as well.—TriiipleThreat (talk) 12:12, 26 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@PhilipTerryGraham: 220 is in fact the default preference setting. I have also opened a discussion at Template talk:Infobox film. Lets establish a consensus before reverting.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 17:18, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@TriiipleThreat: To be fair, you didn't make it clear that you wanted to discuss anything; you recognised an error and stated as such. If you want to discuss something, please make it explicitly clear before signing off your message next time... – PhilipTerryGraham (talk · articles · reviews) 17:27, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
