I see that the image is marked "Public domain because the author died over 100 years ago", and yet this is a poster for a 1915 referendum.

Here's an alternative source for the image, from the Australian War Memorial, which explicitly says the copyright status is "External copyright; copyright expired - public domain":

I'm not sure what to do, but if this were my page I'd replace the original image with this one. It's a clearer image, and has an authoritative public domain status. Eiffel (talk) 21:09, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
