I have two issues with this chart/graph.
1. the x-axis jumps between logarithmic and linear timescales
2. the y-axis is *delta* T meaning the represented data is not "Global Temperatures" as the title suggests, but infact the represented data is "Global Temperature Changes" Note: that is "changes" as a noun, not "changes" the verb
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think this image requires attention.
Because as it is, the graph just tells me that: in general, things change more over more time.Ccubedd (talk) 19:39, 26 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Apparent error in vertical scale in leftmost panel

[edit]

The vertical scale in the leftmost panel of the graph appears to be in error. There is a sudden upward step in the transition to the next panel to the right. It seems a new vertical scale is needed for the rightmost four panels. ClarkoEye (talk) 05:33, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Apparent error in AGW projections

[edit]

Apparent error in AGW projections on far right: You have projected temperature rises for 2050 and 2100 based on IPCC AR5. I have this doc in front of me and they look wrong by about 2x. For RCP8.5 it should be ~2C for 2050, 4C for 2100 and 8C for 2300 (Fig 12.5). https://www.ipcc.ch/site/assets/uploads/2018/02/WG1AR5_Chapter12_FINAL.pdf
