Is this really a folding bicycle, though? If it is, the locking mechanism must be concealed by the large U-shaped lock. It looks to me more like a rigid-frame "shopper" bicycle from the mid-seventies. Many of these were manufactured by a London firm called Brown Brothers. They were badged either as Vindec (Vindec Twenty for this style, denoting the wheel size in inches), or under a number of other names, possibly for department stores or catalogues. I have one identical to the one pictured, which is called a Bricross Celica. Like the one in the photo, it has a Union Jack on the seat tube, and was made in 1974, as evidenced by the date on the Sturmey-Archer gear hub. 82.0.12.119 (talk) 12:12, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
