Fair Use
[edit]"It is believed that the use of scaled-down, low-resolution images of posters" I've always taken low-resolution to mean something like 100 or 200 pixels square. This is a big picture, over 1000 pixels square. It's not really low-res. As for being off-center - is it? So what? Does that make it ok?217.44.132.81 (talk) 08:17, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- In WP:FU, the goal is to avoid "piracy" and to not "undermine the ability of the copyright holder to profit from the work." A poor-quality image (color shift, off center, imprecise focus, creased material, etc.) can accomplish this as well as low resolution. Wasted Time R (talk) 12:07, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
