Summary

Description The memories of the old trains of the Voralpen-Express are still alive when you come across these two-part commuter trains of SOB from 1995. The old designation is still faintly recognizable between the headlights. The trains did not come to the Voralpen-Express until 2013 because they previously ran in the Einsiedeln/Arth-Goldau region. Originally they were supposed to be sold, but nobody wanted them. Today these compositions still run as S27 between Ziegelbrücke and Siebnen-Wangen. However, only on weekdays in the morning and evening rush hours. The journey takes just 12 minutes with three stops in between. Switzerland, January 6, 2022.
