English: Life restoration of the Late Turonian russellosaurine Yaguarasaurus columbianus (Páramo, 1994) from the upper Magdalena River Valley in Colombia, hypothetically depicted as a basal plioplatecarpine.
Reference: Head is informed by holotype BRV-68 (Páramo, 1994) and referred specimen MP-14 (Páramo-Fonseca, 2000). Appendicular skeleton follows the basal plioplatecarpine hypothesis that Yaguarasaurus is a primitive member of the Plioplatecarpinae per Polcyn et al. (2023) and Rivera-Sylva et al. (2023). Postcranial body proportions are based on Platecarpus skeleton LACM 128319 (Lindgren et al., 2010). Appendicular skeleton is based on Eonatator sternbergii skeleton UPI R 163 (Bardet et al., 2001) and LACM 128319 to represent a hypothetical primitive limb structure. Bilobed tail follows Lindgren et al. (2010)
