Summary

Description
English: A Dem/Val YF120-GE-100 engine in the YF-23 PAV-2 configuration at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. The YF-23 prototype is behind the engine. The YF120 produces 35,000 lbs of thrust and has a dual-bypass variable cycle architecture. Note the transparent panel covering the front of the engine, showing the unusual highly-swept inlet guide vanes.
