Description
English: An illustration of an avian themed Mississippian culture repoussé copper plate found near Malden, Missouri in 1906. Reconstructed missing tail and wing taken from the Upper Bluff Lakes falcon plate thought to have been made by the same workshop or artist. One of eight plates found in the Wulfing cache, this one is designated Plate F, actual plate (not including reconstructed sections) is 28.6 centimetres (11.3 in) in length by 11.2 centimetres (4.4 in) in width and weighs 61 grams (2.2 oz).[1]
