Summary

Description
English: Wrightville, NSW - Village from Chesney Mine 1935 (State Library of NSW).This would be only a part of the area originally occupied by Wrightville and the neighbouring village of Dapville, but shows the scaattered nature of the settlement in its later years.By 1935, the Chesney Mine had been shut for around 15 years, but was in the process of being reopened. The wooden gantry and hopper bin in the foreground of the photo are in ruins.
