DescriptionWorld War books of remembrance for Lloyds TSB Group.jpg
English: First World War and Second World War books of remembrance for members of the Lloyds TSB Group (as it was before the demerger in 2013). The books were created in 2003 and installed at the banking group's headquarters at 25 Gresham Street, London, UK, in 2004, to mark the removal of the previous memorial from Lombard Street, London, to Canons House, Bristol. The book cover at left is titled 'IN MEMORIAM 1939-1945'. The World War One book is open to show the explanatory text, which starts: "THIS MEMORIAL BOOK RECORDS THE NAMES OF THE DIRECTORATE AND STAFF WHO HAVE LOST THEIR LIVES IN TIMES OF WAR." The same inscription is on the front of the glass case/cabinet.
