Image title
This one is throwing me. In many ways it resembles Cystopteris, but none of the local species seem to have such abundant hairs on the stem and leaflets, or the scales on the underside. Cheilanthes lanosa has lots of hair and scales, but it usually has a purple stem and is super rare in CT.
