Summary

Description

Pictured (l-r) are Womans Hour presenter and long-time Archers fan Jane Garvey, Archers Academics’ Dr Cara Courage and special guest John Rowe, aka Dr Jim Lloyd in the long-running BBC Radio 4 daily serial.

They had been speaking in a sell-out festival session called Women in The Archers: the power of gender, sex and gossip. Founded in 2009, the Chiswick Book Festival brings together top authors and their readers for a long weekend of history, poetry, biography, creative writing, fiction, thrillers, politics and children’s books. The Festival is a non-profit-making community event, raising money for St Michael & All Angels Church, which hosts the event, and three charities.
