Description The Sarah Adams Whittemore House (commonly referred to as the Whittemore House) located at 1526 Hampshire Avenue, NW in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. It was designed by architect Harvey L. Page in 1892. The building is now home to the Woman's National Democratic Club and WNDC Museum. The Whittemore House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a contributing property to the Dupont Circle Historic District.
