Summary

Description
English: Example of a "WokFi" antenna, a crude homemade parabolic antenna used for connecting a personal computer to a wireless network. This one consists of a barbecue dish cover with a USB wireless dongle at the focus, connected to the computer by a cable. WokFi antennas allow connection to wireless networks at much greater ranges than the omnidirectional antennas typically used in wireless devices. The dish must be pointed at the network access point antenna.
