Description

Cover of the June 1997 issue. The main article was about 101 suggestions for saving Apple Inc. which was in dire straits at the time. Five months later, Apple acquired Steve Jobs' the NeXT acquisition company and its operating system, and Jobs returned Apple as an "advisor" to then-CEO Gil Amelio). A year later, Jobs was CEO, launched iMac, and Apple was saved. Many of Wired's suggestions were implemented.
