Description

The Winter Gardens, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England, built 1835. For the origins of the building, see: Harrogate People and Places: Harrogate in detail. Section - Montpellier Baths. The glass section burned down, and that part was rebuilt. The original frontage and stone stairway still exist. It is now occupied by Wetherspoons.

This hand-tinted postcard is postmarked 30 October 1910. The handwritten message on the back is sent to 66 Forest Road, Nottingham, and says: "Dear Marshall, I hope you are keeping my bed nice & warm (signed illegible)"

Author Unknown and anonymous. No author mentioned on back of card. Postcard books, records and archives have been searched for author name and any claim to copyright, but none found.
