Summary

Description High-level coding structure of Windows code page 20932 ("Japanese (JIS 0208-1990 and 0212-1990)"),[a] observed from MultiByteToWideChar output. This is a hybrid form of Extended Unix Code Japanese, using the C0/G0/G1/G2 coding from EUC-JP (csEUCPkdFmtJapanese) but the G3 coding from csEUCFixWidJapanese, due to Windows tending to avoid using more than two bytes per character in legacy code pages.
Footnotes
InfoField
  1. Associated with the ".NET Name" EUC-JP, but is not the "EUC Japanese" code page (which would be 51932, ".NET Name" euc-jp, and seemingly not supported by MultiByteToWideChar—although, if the ICU data repository is anything to go by, code page 51932 seems to be a subset of 20932 minus the JIS X 0212 part in the encoder direction, and the same overlayed on top of / partly overwriting some other JIS X 0208 encoding that is neither EUC nor Shift_JIS in the decoder direction).
