Deutsch: Es handelt sich um einen achteckigen Erdholländer als Binnenkruier (d.h. von innen drehbar) gebaut.
Die Mühle wurde 1860 im Meller Ortsteil Drantum durch den Mühlenbauer und Müller Schröder erbaut. Nach dessen Konkurs kam die Mühle 1899 in den Besitz von Heinrich Due (oder Duke). Bis 1910 wurde die Mühle durch Wind betrieben. Danach wurde elektrisch gemahlen (noch 1988). Die Flügel (1979 flügellos) wurden von August Due ca. 1988 instandgesetzt und konnten damals mit einem E-Motor zu Demonstationszwecken laufen gelassen werden. Heute (2014) in baufälligem Zustand. |
