Summary

Description
English: This is the inscription on the East facing plinth of the memorial to William Flockhart pharmacist who supplied chloroform to Sir James Young Simpson and is located in Warriston Cemetery Edinburgh. This plinth face is a memorial to his son (also) William Flockhart who took over the Duncan, Flockhart and Co pharmacy business and to his daughter Jane Edith Flockhart.
