English: A pair of Wiley-X PT-1 shooting glasses with all three available lens tints (gray-green, clear, and persimmon).
The Wiley X PT-1 protective spectacle consists of a plastic frame (one size) with interchangeable polycarbonate lenses. The frame and lens assembly weighs 1.3 ounces (37 gram). The nosepiece is adjustable for improved fit and comfort. All lenses have been treated with a hard coat to reduce scratching and maximize resistance to chemicals, such as DEET, on both inner and outer surfaces of the lens. The Wiley X PT-1 provides ballistic-fragmentation protection and meets all ANSI Z87.1-2003 optical and safety requirements. The lens material blocks 99.9% of all UVA and UVB light. This eyewear is for Soldiers who do not require prescription lenses. Wiley-X PT-1 Safety Glasses are also designed to meet the ballistic impact standards set by the U.S. Military (MIL-PRF-31013, Clause 3.5.1.1). These standards are 7× higher than ANSI requirements.
