Deutsch: Blick vom Hauptschiff Richtung Chor in der Ruprechtskirche im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt.
Die Kirche, dem Schutzpatron der Salzschiffer heiliger Rupert geweiht, ist die älteste noch bestehende Kirche der Stadt Wien. Teile des Hauptschiffes und die Untergeschosse des Turmes stammt aus dem 11/12. Jahrhundert und der Chor aus dem 3. Viertel des 13. Jahrhunderts. Das barocke Kreuz über dem Triumphbogen ist ein Werk aus dem 1. Viertel des 18. Jahrhunderts. |
