Summary

Description
Deutsch: Die Hauptfassade bzw. Südwestansicht der Peterskirche im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt. Der erste Kuppelbau des barocken Wien wurde ab 1701/02 errichtet. Die Planung und der Baubeginn (Fundamente) erfolgte unter Gabriele Montani. Nachdem dieser als Festungsarchitekt nach Madrid zog, setzte ab 1703 sehr wahrscheinlich Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt den Bau nach veränderten Plänen fort.
