DescriptionWhitstone and Bridgerule station - geograph.org.uk - 727855.jpg
English: Whitstone and Bridgerule station The penultimate station on the London & South-Western Railway's branch from Halwill Junction to Bude served the villages of Whitstone in Cornwall and Bridgerule in Devon, though not conveniently situated for either. The station itself is in Devon, though just west of the Tamar which forms the natural border of Cornwall, because the boundaries were adjusted to keep the whole parish of Bridgerule in one county. The line closed in 1966 and the station site is now used as industrial premises.
