DescriptionWhitland Town Hall and Library - geograph.org.uk - 4485826.jpg
English: Whitland Town Hall and Library
Viewed across King Edward Street, the Town Hall is suitable for conferences and meetings. It has a large main hall and other smaller spaces for hourly hire. There are IT, printing and copying facilities for conferences, meetings and video conferencing.
The Hall was built in 1904. The ground floor was formerly let to a co-operative society and later a butcher. In 1950 the top floor became a cinema, The Colosseum, with the rest of the building a staff & social club. In 1973 the Hall was passed to the people of Whitland. In 1992 it was extended and extensively renovated.
Whitland Library has a separate entrance on the left, between the two cars.
