Note:
  • The 'Racial Equality (The Executive Office)' dataset allows a specialised classification to identify the key titular ethnic group of the combined White British and Irish descended population, who is comparatively different from recent White immigrants to Northern Ireland from Eastern Europe.
This classification of the White British and Irish ethnic group uses all people who ticked White, with a British, Irish or Northern Irish (any combination excluding those with an Non-UK 'Other' identity however) national identity only, and who reported their religion as Christian, no religion, or did not state a religion.
This is comparatively different from the White British Wikipedia page usage of just those who ticked White and any British, Irish or Northern Irish identity (including those who ticked a non-UK identity with a UK identity, and of any religion) and such excludes around 16,003 people:
