Summary
DescriptionWheelchair sculpture 6493.JPG | A major piece by Tony Heaton in 1994 ‘Great Britain from a Wheelchair’. This a map of Britain made from two grey NHS wheelchairs. ‘A delightful game, it forms a repudiation of the (“This is for some tragic bastard”,) conventional value judgement implicit in the wheelchairs. In November 2016 it was displayed at the Graeae Theatre in Hoxton. | |
