Summary

Description
English: A Weston-super-Mare tram car and a bus operated by the Bristol Tramways Company compete on the sea front route from the Old Pier to the Sanatorium in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, England. The tramway had opened in 1902 but the Bristol company started to operate competitive services in the town in 1934. Three years later they bought out the Weston-super-Mare company and closed the tram network.
