Title

The Ratification of the Spanish-Dutch Treaty of Münster, 15 May 1648.

This painting commemorates the ratification on 15 May 1648 of the Spanish-Dutch peace treaty signed in January earlier that year, also at Münster. It is not about the more famous Treaty of Münster signed by France, the Holy Roman Emperor and their respective allies on 24 October 1648, and for which there exists no paintings.
