Description What a sight to see what this bird will eventually eat. Birds have a quadrate bone in their skull which will allow the mouth to expand to accommodate such a large meal. Special thanks for the ID from Rich Palmer who taught Zoology as a colleague @ Fresno City College. Unfortunately I did not take ichthyology and he sure did. Thanks so much, Rich!
