English: View to the westernmost point of the main (northern) branch of the Lanxin railway in Alataw Pass, 2360 kilometers from the starting point in Lanzhou. At this point, the railway connects to the Kazakhstan rail system in Dostyk, linking the Chinese rail system to that of the former USSR and forming a connection as part of the Eurasian Land Bridge.
