English: West Newton, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. West Newton township was added to Marton to form Burton Constable civil parish in 1935. This row of eight semi-detached council houses pretty much doubled the population of the hamlet of West Newton when they were built in the mid 20th century. There were still fewer than twenty houses here in 1991.
