DescriptionWest Ham station - geograph.org.uk - 646671.jpg
English: West Ham station An island platform was provided here from 14 May 1979 so that passengers to and from trains between Richmond and North Woolwich could interchange with the District Line above. The line was later electrified, and '2-EPB' units were imported from the Southern Region to work it. The arrangements here were later altered when the Jubilee line arrived here in the late 1990s. Here a '2-EPB' unit is seen northbound just after leaving the station under the District Line and London Tilbury and Southend bridges. This station has now become a major interchange with a new bus station as well.
