Deutsch: Wendel Dietterlin, Auferweckung des Lazarus. Einziges Gemälde, das dem Künstler sicher zugeschrieben werden kann, da es mit vollem Namen signiert ist. Bei der Person rechts unterhalb der Bildmitte, die den Blick zum Betrachter gewendet hat und mit der Hand an die heruntergelassene Grabplatte fasst, dürfte es sich um ein Selbsportrait Dietterlins handeln (Kurt Martin: Der Maler Wendel Dietterlin. In: Karl Schwingel (Hrsg.): Festschrift für Karl Lohmeyer. West-Ost-Verlag, Saarbrücken 1954, S. 14–29, hier S. 19).
