The image Image:Welsh Scrabble box.jpg is being linked here; though the picture is originally copyright, I (Soo 11:19, 22 September 2006 (UTC)) feel it is covered by fair use because:

1. The image is of lower resolution than the original box, and at an oblique angle, so copies made from it will be of inferior quality.
2. No free or public domain images equivalent can be found, because this is the copyrighted artwork.
3. The image does not limit the copyright owners' rights to distribute the game in any way.
4. The image is being used for informational purposes only, to show a typical Scrabble box in a language other than English.

This image is of a board game cover, and the copyright for it is most likely held by the publisher of the board game. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of board game covers to illustrate the board game in question, where no free equivalent is available or could be created that would adequately give the same information, on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation, qualifies as fair use under the copyright law of the United States.
